Span is a premium product. It is worth the cost in three scenarios specifically:

  • ·You want to add EV charging (or a heat pump) but a 200A service upgrade is not feasible or you want to avoid the cost.

Sometimes. If your goal is to add EV charging or a heat pump but you do not want to upsize to 200A, Span's load-management features can let you stay on 100A or 150A safely. We run the load calculation and tell you whether Span alone is sufficient or whether a service upgrade is still required.
How long does installation take?
On-site work is typically a single day. Permit, utility coordination, and app commissioning take another 1 to 3 weeks depending on the town.
