We operate the website at westelectric.energy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect about you, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Information you give us. Name, phone number, email address, service address, the service type you're interested in, project description, timeline, and any other details you choose to share through our estimate form, phone calls, emails, or text messages.
• Information collected automatically. Standard web traffic data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and time-on-site, collected through Vercel Web Analytics and similar tooling. This data is aggregated and used to improve the site.
• Address-lookup data. When you use the address field on our estimate form, we use the Google Maps Places API to help you complete the address. Your queries are sent to Google subject to Google's privacy practices.

• To respond to your estimate request, schedule a site visit, and provide a quote.
• To complete and service installations or repairs you contract us for.
• To communicate with you about your project, including follow-up calls, texts, and emails.
• To send service-related notices, scheduling updates, and project documents.
• With your separate consent, to send marketing messages about new services, rebates, or promotions. You can opt out at any time.
• To comply with legal obligations and to enforce our terms.

By providing your phone number on our forms, you agree that we may contact you by phone or text message regarding your estimate request, including by automated technology where applicable. Separately, if you check the SMS-consent box on our estimate form, you also consent to receive marketing or follow-up text messages from West Electric at the number you provided. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may reply STOP to any text message at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate our business:

• Our CRM (GoHighLevel). Estimate requests are stored in GoHighLevel so our team can follow up and track your project.
• Financing partners. If you ask us about financing (such as Connecticut Green Bank Smart-E loans or solar lenders), we share only the information you authorize with the relevant lender.
• Permitting and utility coordination. Your service address and the scope of work are shared with town building departments and your utility (Eversource or United Illuminating) as required to complete permits, inspections, and interconnections.
• Service providers. Hosting, analytics, address-lookup, email, and SMS providers that help us operate the site and communicate with you.
• Legal compliance. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of West Electric, our customers, or others.

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to make the site function properly. Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when a cookie is being sent. If you disable cookies, parts of the site may not work correctly.

We retain information you give us for as long as needed to provide services to you, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Estimate-only requests are typically retained for several years for follow-up and warranty reference.
